Menopause Transition in Myself & in Work

In 2021 I started noticing changes in my mood, cycle, sleep, body… pretty much everything. I was told that I wasn’t in perimenopause because I appeared so healthy. So, I silently suffered. In 2024 I started asking questions, reading books, and following Menopause Society physicians on instagram. I completed a Menopause Coaching Specialist certification and switched doctors. And it turns out, I was in perimenopause! After paying close attention to my symptoms and communicating with my doctor, we decided to try HRT. So far, I feel more myself than ever,

Most of my certifications are of interest to me because I have experienced the content or have a personal connection to it. When it comes to the menopause transition, it is so complex, deeply personal, and symptoms and journeys vary greatly from person to person. I’m glad that I’m experiencing it because I’m not sure that I would totally understand the intricacies of the transition if I wasn’t learning from my own journey with it.

As I manage my own symptoms and take on new clients in the menopause transition, I feel more confident that I can help more women during this time.
